Privacy Policy
Calibra (“Calibra,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is a mobile application operated by Globio Inc. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect information when you use the Calibra iOS app and related services.
Information we collect
- Account information. When you sign in with Apple, we receive an Apple user identifier and, if you choose to share it, your name and email address.
- User content. Goals, life areas, reflections, gratitude entries, text you type, voice recordings, photos you attach to goals, and preferences you set in the app.
- Audio and speech data. Voice recordings and transcripts created when you use voice capture. On-device speech recognition may process audio locally; optional cloud transcription may send audio to OpenAI when enabled.
- Subscription and purchase data. Subscription status, product identifiers, and transaction metadata processed by Apple and our subscription provider, Apphud. We do not receive or store your full payment card details.
- Device and usage data. Basic device information, app version, and diagnostic data needed to operate, secure, and improve the service.
How we use information
- Provide core app features: goal tracking, daily layers, voice capture, sync, and subscription access.
- Generate AI-assisted reflections, prompts, and goal suggestions when you use those features.
- Sync your data across devices through your private account.
- Manage subscriptions, trials, restores, and billing events through Apple and Apphud.
- Maintain security, prevent abuse, and improve reliability.
Where data is stored
Your data is stored on your device (SwiftData) and, when you sign in, synced to cloud infrastructure operated by Supabase (PostgreSQL database and private storage buckets for photos and audio). Data may be processed in regions where these providers operate.
Third-party services
- Apple — Sign in with Apple, in-app purchases, and App Store subscriptions.
- Apphud — subscription management and analytics.
- Supabase — authentication, database, and file storage for cloud sync.
- OpenAI — optional cloud transcription and AI features when configured.
These providers process data according to their own privacy policies and our agreements with them.
Data retention
We retain your account data while your account is active. You may delete content in the app at any time. If you delete your account or request deletion, we will delete or anonymize associated personal data except where retention is required by law or for legitimate business purposes (such as aggregated, non-identifying statistics).
Your choices and rights
- Access, update, or delete goals and content directly in the app.
- Permanently delete your account in the app: Profile → Delete Account. This removes your Sign in with Apple account, synced goals, photos, and voice recordings.
- Manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID account settings.
- Request help with account data by contacting us (see below).
- Decline optional permissions (microphone, speech recognition, Face ID); some features may not work without them.
Children
Calibra is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Security
We use industry-standard measures including encrypted transport (HTTPS/TLS), access controls, and private per-user storage. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version at this URL and update the effective date above. Continued use of Calibra after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
